Personal (16) Rving (8)

About Me!

I'm Rhanna, I'm 18 and I live full time in a 39 foot fifth wheel named Falkor with my three younger siblings, parents, two cats and a dog and we are traveling across the country together.

I'm a grown, life-long unschooler, though I like to call myself a Life Learner. Everything calls to me, I'm always excited about learning about anything.

I call myself a Bakeress and specialize in cooking/baking AIP (Auto Immune Paleo), which means no grains, gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, seeds, beans, legumes, and nightshades. I have an auto immune issue, along with SOME of my family, but not all, so as you can imagine that is quite a challenge! We are entirely gluten-free and most of us are dairy free. So when I mention something I may have baked, you can be pretty sure it's not a quick, normal version of that treat, but a tricky, wacky sounding version, though still delicious! I'm always open for questions about what I've created or if you're curious about different food allergies!

Ever since I became entirely gluten-free I've wanted to own a allergy friendly Teahouse/Bakery that serves foods for all kinds of allergies/diets so that anyone can come and eat yummy treats without having to worry about getting sick afterwards. It's often very disappointing to never be able to just go get coffee and a muffin with a friend, and I want to create a space like that for the future.
I also want to create a space that isn't just food, but has room to build up a community of like-minded people who can teach each other, and learn from each other. I want to create a space to come have a cup of tea and knit with your friends; For people to come play music, or read a book and have some quiet time, or meet new people.
I've been dreaming about it, and coming up with ideas from weekly menus, to surprises for children, to the whole layout of the building, to how I'm going to decorate the tables, to what the kitchen is going to look like. If I knew how to draw blue prints I would have several.
I want to write up my ideas and you never know, maybe if I put my ideas out there someone will have something to add, or a resource I can use!

I dabble in playing guitar and I dance in as many styles as I can. I did belly dance and swing for around a year, and I love contra, any kind of partner dancing, and all-over-the-place-freestyle.
I sing loudly for fun, do hand embroidery for relaxation and I create little felt dolls decorated with embroidery that I sell. I'm learning Blackwork from a friend of mine, and I like to crochet scarves and gloves occasionally. I am passionate about history and the Victorian Language of Flowers and I love to do flower photography. I'll probably be posting some of my photos here, for you to see!
I've gone to Not Back To School Camp for four years and love writing long letters with the people I met there.

I'm creating this blog mostly for myself, as a snapshot of myself at this point in my life. I'm planning on posting about things I love, like cooking, flowers, crafts, music, books, and thoughts that I have about becoming a grown-up individual.
